The Price Difference

Private tour surcharges are calculated as a percentage on top of the base group tour price, tiered by group size: 2 people at +90%, 3 people at +75%, 4 people at +60%, 5 people at +50%, 6 people at +40%, 7 people at +35%, 8 people at +30%, and 9 or more people at +20%.

For example, on our Amazing China tour ($999pp base), a private tour for 2 people would be approximately $1,898pp. For 4 people, approximately $1,598pp. For 9+, approximately $1,199pp. The surcharge decreases significantly with larger parties.
